The AIMS of the Integrative Holistic Medicine Module:
Integrative Holistic Medicine is a new concept in global health, supported by WHO, which aims to build a holistic, comprehensive and integrative view of the person as a whole in health and disease
It gives importance to the doctor-patient relationship and uses diagnostic and therapeutic approaches based on scientific evidence to treat and prevent a person from falling into a state of illness. The main goal is the empowerment of patients to achieve an optimal state of health through a balance between spirit, mind, body and environment
The aim of integrative Holistic Medicine is also, necessarily, an intersection and a coherent integration of Conventional Medicine and various other Complementary Health Systems, namely: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, Ayuverdic Medicine and the Science of Consciousness
