Observaciones: The 59th MEDTROP – Brazilian Congress of Tropical Medicine, held in São Paulo at the Rebouças Convention Center, returns after 28 years with the theme “Tropical Medicine through the Lens of One Health,” emphasizing the interconnected health of humans, animals, and ecosystems. Attracting over 3,000 participants nationally and internationally, the congress will address key issues such as zoonoses, antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites, as well as emerging epidemics and pandemic preparedness. The program includes over 100 roundtables, more than 20 keynote lectures, 200+ oral presentations, 2,000+ poster sessions, and satellite meetings like ChagasLeish 2024 and the 9th Forum on Neglected Diseases, all aimed at fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, innovative research, and integrated public health strategies.
